As an online and social media editor, content & copywriter, and director, I focus on unique content, ease of use, and impact. These three terms are my mantra in my profession and daily work. I’m passionate about creating captivating and engaging content, write meticulously targeted copy, transform ideas into moving images, and put together memorable, carefully crafted campaigns.
Whether writing copy for online or offline – the content I plan is customized and strategic. I put together publishing plans, texts (SEO), develop formats with visual and technical teams, and manage it all using content management systems (Typo3, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.). I also develop and implement offline strategies as necessary.
If it’s SEO texts, storytelling, claims, adverts, web copy, product descriptions, or press releases – as a professional content & copywriter, I develop ideas for texts, put existing ideas down in the right words, and optimize existing texts. My writing helps make brands come alive.
From planning to editorial management, copywriting, developing posts with visual and technical teams, not to mention posting, community management, growth, and reporting – I manage social media channels in part or in their entirety. I also create and manage advertising campaigns.
I develop effective, brand-specific campaigns (online & offline) and design and develop traditional or artistic solutions as necessary for greater reach. As part of this process I also identify potential risks, create communication opportunities, and actualize clear messaging to reach target groups and sales goals.
Social clips, trailers, interviews, company profiles, product videos, or image films – I’m an experienced film and video director who also enjoys writing and putting together scripts to put brands and products in the best possible light. This means focusing on exemplary storytelling and achieving sales goals.
TYPO3, WordPress, WooCommerce, Drupal, Shopify – I work with a wide variety of content management systems (CMS) every single day. I independently create content, edit and publish posts directly into the content management systems, and manage shop systems. I love it.
Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Facelift, Later, and more – my daily work includes using a variety of social media planning tools, including campaign management and reporting. This is a great way to control all social activities in one place.
I create texts and keyword content for search engines. This includes optimizing meta-elements and image files, keyword texts, realize on-page and off-page optimizations, and maintain internal link building and backlinks.
Collaboration is key, and I further rely on video communication via Zoom, instant messaging services such as Slack and Microsoft Teams, and project management tools including Asana, Monday, and Redmine. I love working remotely and appreciate all the digital assistants for this on the market.
German is my mother tongue. It’s where I feel most a home and the language in which I’m a trained copywriter. However, many of my projects have been translated from English into German, and vice-versa. For some projects I communicate exclusively in English if that works best for my clients.
Using iStock, Envato Elements, Unsplash, Shutterstock, or other photo & video portals is part of my workaday world as a film and video director and content manager. A film or video shoot isn’t always best for an idea, or may prove prohibitively expensive, so these can be great alternatives.
Brave new world! Aldous Huxley’s work was prophetic and seems to be becoming reality. I personally love this progress, and so have integrated GPT-4o and other minor assistants into my everyday work. I regularly attend professional seminars and deep dives with AI experts. Excited to see what the future holds!
Microsoft Word is my friend and helper, although I prefer to write using Text Edit on a Mac. However, I also enjoy using PowerPoint for presentations. Microsoft Excel and I may one day become best buddies, but meanwhile I’ve at least mastered the basics.
As head copywriter and editor of the magazine o-ton of ODEG (Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH), I fill the passenger magazine with ideas and life. A print run of 40,000 copies is published three times a year and is placed in the trains.
I’m the editor-in-chief (TYPO3) and head copywriter for this Berlin online portal’s magazine for professionals since 2013, where people who want to work and live in Berlin can get informed about this. A true passion project of mine and a very true recommendation for all new Berliners!
E-learning and quality management for healthcare (online course system) - that's Pflegecampus. I supported the start-up as a copywriter and concept specialist in both email marketing and website on-page optimization.
As a copywriter and concept developer, I primarily supported the German Red Cross in online communication. Whether it was fundraising campaigns, texts about prominent ambassadors or entire landing pages – I am grateful to have been a part of the humanitarian work.

For the German Film Awards, I created and wrote a guide for the jury’s viewing platform working in cooperation with the design professionals at PANTAFLIX, among others.
I designed, wrote, and managed in CMS (TYPO3) the website for the Berlin food brand vanilla & marille. I additionally handle their newsletters, flyers, posters, and so on.
I worked as a wordsmith for the incorporate berlin agency. Working together we created a brochure for the Gewobag Berlin, among other things.
As a copywriting partner for the real estate agency TRICON, I wrote a wide variety of exposés for real estate in Berlin and Brandenburg.
I wrote the website and set it up (WordPress) for Berlin-based actor and voiceover artist Ben Posener. Ben has been seen in spots for Siemens, Mercedes Benz, and Bosch.
I spent several years as an editor and author for the inflight magazine of the now defunct Germanwings Airline.
LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook – as the senior social media editor and manager, I put together daily content for Berlin’s official professional employees’ portal.
The new brand for the capital city, WIRBERLIN (WE BERLIN), was launched in 2020 and I managed the long, one-year launch phase as the lead social media editor.
I put my social media skills to good use by supporting the VYBE brothers team for a number of years, including social media support for a big German television show.
In 2023, I supported the launch of this Berlin-based company’s Instagram channel by creating their first 3x3 grid post.
Instagram and Facebook – I spent more than seven years (until 2022) providing daily content for the social media channels of this ice cream manufactory.
As the senior social media editor and manager, I spent a year supervising the launch of this Swiss-based beauty brand on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
I designed and directed an image film for the SchwuZ Queer Club. The video is the opener on the new website, which was launched in 2022.
I designed and directed a launch video, symbolling a powerful transformation, for the market entry of the US brand Urban Spiritualist.
I regularly shoot fascinating stories, and manage the editing, for Berlin’s official professional employees’ portal Talent Berlin, where employees from Berlin companies introduce themselves.
To increase inquiries about renting the space, I designed and shot a video for the SchwuZ club that puts a full spotlight on the space itself.
I regularly conduct fascinating interviews with people who have successfully landed in Berlin for the magazine of Berlin’s professional employees’ portal, and am lead editor for the interviews afterwards.

Calling me tech savvy is a bit of an understatement. I’m at home online and also enjoy learning even systems that are unfamiliar to me, and can do it very quickly.
I opened my own offices in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood in 2015. So much has happened since then. I’m a wordsmith for agencies and work as a freelance editor and director, concept developer and content strategist for various companies in an array of industries. Versatile and always on the go with new ideas. My clients really appreciate my web skills.
In 2013, I returned to Berlin from Munich and started working as a freelancer at the ideenmanufaktur agency in Berlin. During this time I grew as a senior editor and copywriter. I was mainly given jobs as a senior editor and copywriter for online projects (Type3, social media). We still work together to this day, for which I am very thankful.
Talent isn’t everything! I wanted more: skills, tools, techniques. I learned all of this at the Text-College in Munich. I learned many such skills during my studies, which enabled me to further professionalize my abilities. For instance, aside from purely creative copywriting I was able to add SEO texts and other online skills. While studying I worked for the Berger Baader Hermes Agency.
This was when I started to work as a freelance editor and copywriter. Clients included Germanwings Magazine and L-Mag. As a child of two writers, I was blessed to be born with a talent for writing. I began my professionalization in social media in the year 2007.
I get an amazing amount of joy from listening to music, looking at art, watching films and series, and reading books. Whenever I find enough time, I enjoy spending it in the world’s galleries, museums, operas, and theaters.
I’m not just a proponent for using gender-inclusive language, I am also otherwise committed to promoting diversity in society. Whether in my personal or professional life, I’ve been involved in advancing many projects for diversity.
I sometimes don’t believe it myself, but I haven’t eaten meat or fish since 1997. I love animals and that’s why I’m involved with the animal protection organization Animal Equality as a sustaining member.
Traveling inspires me and helps clear my mind. My favorite trips are to cities. Then that’s where all the wonderful art and culture is that I cannot get enough of. Lisbon, New York, London, and Paris are among my recurring destinations.
